QA Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure software and system integrity across online marketplace development projects, the full-time remote QA Engineer will advocate for quality, perform manual and automated testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and deliver optimal solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure applications meet predefined acceptance criteria through manual testing and visual assessments
• Write and execute automation scripts for functional and regression tests while setting up test automation tools
• Evaluate, troubleshoot, and apply suitable testing mechanisms throughout the Software Development Life Cycle, adhering to Agile methodologies

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, particularly in a digital platform environment such as online marketplaces or SaaS
• Solid understanding of automated testing within the Software Development Life Cycle, particularly in Agile settings
• Strong background in manual testing techniques and experience with automation tools like Cypress, Jest, and Nightwatch
• Proven ability to write automated functional and integration tests in JavaScript and experience testing REST APIs
• Familiarity with test management tools such as Xray or Zephyr is recommended
