QA Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote QA Engineer who will own quality for a complex mobile platform by combining hands-on testing with automation advocacy, collaborating closely with developers, product, and design teams to enhance testing processes and frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage quality assurance for a large mobile platform through exploratory and manual testing while promoting automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shift testing left and reduce reliance on end-to-end testing suites
• Build and scale automation frameworks, ensuring effective test placement across various layers of the application

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional QA or quality engineering experience with expertise in both manual and automation testing
• Strong understanding of QA principles and testing methodologies across the software development lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with Appium, Cucumber, and Java, particularly in testing native Android and iOS applications
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated integration test suites
• Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance QA productivity and automation development
