QA Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled QA Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, this role focuses on designing automated systems to identify data quality issues and product bugs, while also contributing code fixes and collaborating with engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build automated systems to detect data quality issues and product bugs across web applications and data pipelines
• Write scripts for anomaly detection and maintain automated test coverage in high-risk areas
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize issues and contribute code fixes directly

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering experience with a focus on quality, data integrity, or test automation
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with automation and data analysis
• Experience working with large datasets and debugging in SQL and NoSQL databases
• Proven ability to build automated systems that identify bugs or data issues
• Comfortable reading and contributing to a production codebase
