QA Engineer
Job Summary
Owning quality assurance for diverse products, the full-time Middle QA Engineer will analyze requirements, design and execute testing strategies, and investigate defects across Web, mobile, and backend systems in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing while assessing risks and validating functionality across UI, API, and database layers
- Investigate defects using various debugging tools and validate bug fixes to ensure no new issues are introduced
- Support software releases by communicating testing progress, risks, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to unblock delivery
Required qualifications
- Solid hands-on experience in Software Testing / Manual QA with the ability to work independently
- Strong experience testing Web applications and native iOS/Android applications
- Proficient in Backend and REST API testing, with a good understanding of HTTP and client-server architecture
- Ability to write SQL queries for data validation and strong debugging skills using tools like browser DevTools and network analysis tools
- Intermediate English proficiency, with fluency in Ukrainian or Russian
