QA Engineer
Job Summary
To ensure the delivery of high-quality products, the full-time remote QA Engineer II will manage and execute testing plans for Web, API, and database platforms, while writing test scripts, analyzing results, and tracking defects.
Key responsibilities
- Write, manage, and execute functional, integration, API, and user acceptance testing plans
- Participate in sprint planning and requirements review meetings while troubleshooting applications and systems issues
- Identify, document, and track bug tickets in JIRA, collaborating with internal teams to meet system requirements
Required qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- At least 4 years of experience testing web-based and API systems
- Hands-on experience designing and executing functional, GUI, and API tests
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and modern best practices
- Familiarity with testing tools such as ChromeDevTool, Postman, and TestRail
