QA Engineer II

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the QA Engineer II will manage cross-functional collaboration, develop comprehensive test plans, and automate testing processes to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle for the Hospital Quality Reporting program.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to integrate quality considerations at every stage of the SDLC
• Develop and document test plans and cases that align with software specifications and user requirements
• Utilize bug-tracking tools to document and prioritize defects while facilitating effective issue resolution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3 years of development experience
• Experience with relational databases (SQL preferred) and API testing (Postman preferred)
• Proficiency in Cypress and/or JavaScript, along with frontend development experience using frameworks like Angular
• Familiarity with cloud services, ideally AWS, and experience in Agile development methodology
• Knowledge of end-to-end fully automated CI/CD pipelines and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ideally Terraform
