QA Engineering Lead

Job Summary

Leading automation testing initiatives, the full-time QA Engineering Lead will establish and govern enterprise quality assurance practices for the HUD ADPS program, ensuring software solutions meet various compliance and performance standards in a fully remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall Quality Assurance (QA) and Test Automation Strategy for HUD ADPS applications and services
• Establish enterprise testing standards, quality metrics, and governance processes aligned with Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD methodologies
• Lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks for various application types and coordinate testing activities across multiple Agile teams

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 7+ years in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Quality Engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on test automation experience designing and maintaining automated test frameworks for enterprise applications
• Proficiency with at least one automation programming language, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#
• Experience with web UI automation tools and API testing tools
• Strong SQL skills for database validation and reporting accuracy testing
