QA Lead

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced QA Lead to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for leading daily QA operations, coordinating testing initiatives across disciplines, and mentoring team members to ensure a polished player experience throughout game development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of QA testers, assigning testing coverage based on project priorities and mentoring junior members
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans while overseeing functional, gameplay, and compatibility testing efforts
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to improve development quality and communicate testing status and risks to stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in game QA, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership capacity
• Experience testing PC and Console games through multiple development cycles
• Strong understanding of bug tracking systems such as Jira or TestRail
• Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and creative teams
• Passion for games and delivering high-quality player experiences
