QA Lead Engineer

Job Summary

To support a mission-driven engineering team, the full-time QA Lead Engineer will collaborate closely with product teams to establish quality strategies, implement testing frameworks, and enhance software delivery processes in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the delivery of engineering's quarterly goals, ensuring high-impact delivery and effective resource management
• Collaborate within product teams to assess test coverage and production readiness, producing a prioritized testing roadmap
• Establish and implement testing patterns and quality standards across a multi-language stack, making testing integral to the development process

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, capable of operating as an engineering peer
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with TypeScript and Go is strongly preferred
• Experience integrating testing frameworks from scratch in at least two ecosystems
• Ability to define quality standards and production-readiness criteria for engineering organizations
• Experience in fostering a testing culture within teams to enhance capabilities and best practices
