QA Prefund Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a QA Prefund Auditor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality pre-funding audits of loans in progress while maintaining daily productivity levels
• Conduct in-depth reviews and analysis of mortgage loans
• Identify loan level defects, conduct risk analysis, and escalate findings to management

Required Qualifications:

• 5 or more years' underwriting, credit, and/or QC experience
• Familiarity with investor guidelines such as FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, and Reverse
• Strong ability to detect possible misrepresentation and/or fraud
• Extensive knowledge of DU, LP, and manually underwritten loans
• DE and/or VA underwriting designations preferred but not required
