QA Test Engineer

Job Summary

To support a high-impact consulting engagement, the remote QA Test Engineer will design and implement automated test suites, lead automation testing across web applications, and validate complex GraphQL queries while collaborating with engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, draft, and scale automated test suites using Node.js and TypeScript to ensure feature stability
• Lead hands-on automation testing across multiple web applications utilizing Playwright and Appium for Android
• Monitor and maintain automated test execution in continuous integration environments using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or SDET roles
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, with experience using test runners such as Mocha
• Experience implementing UI frameworks with Playwright
• Strong understanding of validating GraphQL APIs and messaging layer test strategies (MQTT, WebSockets)
• Familiarity with containerized deployments using Docker and Git-based CI/CD models
