QA Tester

Job Summary

To ensure the quality and functionality of IT systems, the contract-to-hire QA Tester will perform testing activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support continuous improvement of testing strategies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Perform testing activities to ensure the quality and functionality of IT systems and applications
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business analysts to identify testing requirements and develop test cases
• Execute test cases, document defects, and verify defect fixes to ensure working solutions before deployment

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA testing within a technology environment
• Strong knowledge of testing tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience with SQL and API Testing
• Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, etc.) is a plus
• Proficiency in understanding technical specifications and documentation
