QA Tester
Job Summary
To ensure the quality and reliability of cloud-based applications, the contract-to-hire QA Tester will design and execute automated REST API test scripts, conduct database testing, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Columbus, OH.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated REST API test scripts using Karate or REST Assured
- Conduct comprehensive database testing to ensure data integrity and backend reliability
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and perform performance testing using JMeter
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on REST API automation testing experience with Karate or REST Assured
- 3+ years of database testing experience with SQL proficiency
- Proficient in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SQL
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and GitLab CI
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
