Quality and Release Manager

Job Summary

To support a growing engineering team, the full-time remote Quality and Release Manager will own the QA strategy, manage the release process for the iOS app, and ensure quality through effective communication and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Own the QA strategy, determining automation, manual testing, and risk acceptance for critical paths
• Maintain the release calendar and quality scorecards, reporting on crash rates and release health to leadership
• Run the end-to-end release process for the iOS app, including defining release readiness criteria and leading go/no-go decisions

Required qualifications

• 6+ years in software quality, release management, or engineering, with 3+ years managing people
• Deep knowledge of the App Store release lifecycle, including TestFlight and phased release
• Experience with subscription and payment flows on iOS
• Proven experience in building test automation strategies for mobile applications
• Fluency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and strong knowledge of Git branching strategies
