Quality Assurance Analyst
Job Summary
To support an enterprise Department of Veterans Affairs initiative, the full-time remote Quality Assurance Analyst will analyze requirements, develop test cases, and execute various testing types to ensure the quality and security of software applications while reducing the use of Social Security Numbers.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and develop detailed test cases, scripts, and scenarios to identify testing needs
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing across impacted VistA packages
- Document software defects and collaborate with developers and Business Analysts to validate resolutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing
- Experience developing and executing software test cases and tracking software defects
- Experience performing functional and regression testing within enterprise software environments
- Experience collaborating with developers and Business Analysts throughout the software development lifecycle
