Quality Assurance Auditor

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Quality Assurance Auditor will conduct comprehensive prefund quality assurance audits, focusing on loan fraud detection and compliance with underwriting guidelines for various loan types.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality pre-funding audits of mortgage loans while maintaining productivity levels
• Conduct in-depth reviews and risk analysis of loans, identifying defects and escalating issues as necessary
• Ensure compliance with investor guidelines and maintain data integrity within quality control technology

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of underwriting, credit, or quality control experience
• Strong knowledge of investor guidelines such as FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA, and Jumbo loans
• Experience in detecting loan fraud and misrepresentation
• Ability to analyze risk and provide comprehensive documentation of findings
• Familiarity with automated underwriting systems (DU, LP) and manual underwriting processes
