Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will develop and execute automated test scripts, support UI automation using tools like Playwright, and assist with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to validate application functionality and user workflows
• Support UI automation with a focus on reliable, maintainable test coverage
• Document defects and communicate test results, risks, and blockers during sprint and release activities

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Approximately four years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or application development
• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, including defect documentation and regression testing
• Familiarity with Playwright, JavaScript, TypeScript, and cloud-based application environments such as AWS
