Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will develop and execute automated test scripts to validate application functionality and support UI automation using tools like Playwright.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for application validation and regression scenarios
• Assist with the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and document defects while coordinating with development teams
• Communicate test results, risks, and blockers during sprint and release activities

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Approximately four years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or application development
• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, including tools like Playwright and Postman
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and familiarity with web application technologies such as Vue.js and Python
