Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of automated testing processes, the remote contract Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will develop and execute automated test scripts, assist with UI automation using Playwright, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to validate application functionality and user workflows
• Support UI automation with a focus on reliable and maintainable test coverage
• Document defects, reproduce issues, and verify fixes in collaboration with developers and product teams

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status, with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Approximately four years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or application development
• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, including defect documentation and regression testing
• Familiarity with Playwright, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CI/CD concepts
