Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Leading quality assurance initiatives, the contract Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will manage test strategies, develop automated testing frameworks, and drive integration into CI/CD pipelines while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle
• Develop and oversee test strategies, test plans, and automated testing frameworks, guiding QA team members in execution and defect resolution
• Drive the expansion of test automation and maintain clear documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance delivery quality

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Minimum of six years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or application development for enterprise systems
• At least two years of experience providing quality assurance for AWS-based workloads
• Strong experience in test automation using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience designing and integrating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with AWS services
