Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Leading quality assurance activities in a remote contract role, the Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will design and execute test strategies, manage defect reporting, and drive test automation integration into CI/CD pipelines to ensure software quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and execution of quality assurance activities across the software development lifecycle
• Develop and oversee test strategies, plans, and automated testing frameworks while guiding QA team members
• Drive the expansion of test automation and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipeline tools

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance
• Minimum of six years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or application development for enterprise systems
• At least two years of experience providing quality assurance for AWS-based workloads
• Strong experience developing test automation using Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience designing and integrating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with AWS services
