Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Building the QA infrastructure from the ground up, the full-time remote Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will develop automated test suites, integrate CI processes, and ensure release validation for a financial platform where accuracy is critical.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks for both backend APIs and frontend applications
• Own the release validation process, ensuring every release meets the required correctness standards
• Collaborate with the development team to identify testability gaps and extend test coverage as the platform evolves

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in QA engineering or test automation, with a focus on building test infrastructure
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript, with experience in NestJS and React
• Familiarity with API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Jest
• Background in fintech or financial services, with an understanding of numerical precision and state machine correctness
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into deployment processes
