Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time remote Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will lead the design and implementation of automated testing solutions for cloud-based applications, ensuring quality, security, and performance standards are met in a federal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for various testing types including functional, regression, and performance
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates to ensure code compliance
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation and support compliance with federal standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation engineering
- Proficiency in programming languages for test automation such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, JMeter, and Postman
- Familiarity with federal compliance environments including FedRAMP, FISMA, or NIST standards
