Job Summary
To support a quality assurance program in a remote capacity, the contract-to-hire Quality Assurance Coordinator will oversee audits, provide training, and ensure accurate dispute resolution in the medical field.
Key responsibilities
- Oversees and audits the quality assurance program to ensure accuracy and consistency in decision-making
- Plans and facilitates training and meetings to improve quality based on audit findings
- Researches and develops responses to inquiries from staff and external entities related to quality performance
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree or 60 credit hours towards a Bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related discipline
- Five years of medical dispute, Medicare appeals, or clinical experience in a healthcare setting
- Two years of training experience
- Experience in making medical necessity decisions as a healthcare professional
- Relevant experience in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, or Occupational Therapy
