Quality Assurance Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a QA Director to lead quality assurance efforts for a cooperative action RPG.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end QA strategy for the game, supporting initial releases and live content updates
• Champion build quality and availability, ensuring proper testing and communication on build readiness
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to align testing efforts with development priorities

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in QA for video games, including leadership of QA for a shipped live service title
• Experience managing QA for cross-platform titles, particularly on Xbox and PC
• Strong background in both pre-release and live game testing with knowledge of live game operations
• Demonstrated success managing remote QA teams and coordinating across time zones
• Proficient with test management tools, issue tracking systems, and CI/CD pipelines
