Quality Assurance Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Quality Assurance Director responsible for driving QA strategy and leading a team of QA professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the QA team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Mentor and grow the QA staff and SDETs while defining career paths and supporting professional development
• Define and evolve the enterprise QA strategy, including test automation frameworks and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in a QA leadership role, managing distributed teams and owning enterprise QA strategy
• Deep understanding of software quality assurance practices with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing
• Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and open-source testing tools
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize test coverage
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience
