Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to support their contract work with the Veterans Benefits Administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop testing strategies for manual and automated testing to ensure functionality of solutions
• Create test plans, test cases, generate test data, and execute and document test results
• Complete all quality testing and deliverables associated with unit, functional, automation, regression, performance, and scalability testing

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related scientific/technical discipline
• 5 years of experience with software development, quality assurance, and software testing
• Experience developing and implementing test strategies for software applications independently
• Experience in automation and performance testing tools, preferably Provar
• Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or eXtreme programming
