Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Quality Assurance Engineer, responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of software applications in a full-time remote position, focusing on designing and maintaining test automation frameworks and executing performance tests.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish testing best practices and collaborate with development teams on test automation frameworks
• Participate in sprint planning and manage multiple project schedules while coordinating QA tasks
• Generate test scenarios from user stories and ensure defects are tracked and resolved before production

Required Qualifications and Training

• 3-5 years of experience in software application testing
• 2+ years of performance testing experience using tools like Selenium or Playwright
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in creating test cases from acceptance criteria
• Experience in developing test strategies and managing issues through tracking metrics
• Proficient in using JIRA or other Agile delivery tools
