Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the ServiceNow Quality Assurance Engineer will design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks, execute performance tests, and collaborate with Agile teams to ensure the quality and performance of software applications.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and apply testing best practices while managing multiple project schedules and coordinating QA tasks
• Lead the design and development of a test automation framework using tools like Selenium and Cucumber, and deploy it in a continuous integration environment
• Create test scenarios from user stories, participate in sprint planning, and ensure defects are tracked and resolved before production

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in software application testing
• 2+ years of performance testing experience, preferably with low-code platforms such as ServiceNow
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in creating test cases from acceptance criteria
• Demonstrable experience in various types of testing, including automated, exploratory, load, and performance testing
• Proficient in using JIRA or other Agile delivery tools
