Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure high-quality software releases, the full-time remote Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for verification and validation of the Merge Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) platform, including system testing, integration testing, and release readiness assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification and validation strategies, ensuring product requirements are fully tested and traceable
• Perform end-to-end system and integration testing of VNA features and workflows, including regression testing and defect verification
• Support release qualification activities by assessing production readiness and identifying quality risks to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience, particularly with system and integration testing
• Experience in Agile development environments and creating test plans and execution reports
• Proficiency in verification and validation processes, regression testing, and defect tracking
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and test management tools, as well as software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
