Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a cleared Quality Assurance Engineer, the full-time role focuses on ensuring quality and compliance during the modernization of a critical government information system, with responsibilities including functional and regression testing of Java-based web applications and UI validation, while allowing for remote work flexibility.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive test plans and execute functional and regression testing for system upgrades
• Validate compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements and government accessibility standards
• Develop and maintain UI automation frameworks and perform API testing for backend services

Required qualifications:

• 13+ years of experience in Systems or IT-related roles, with a Bachelor's degree substituting for 4 years and a Master's degree for 6 years of experience
• Extensive experience in functional and regression testing of Java-based web applications
• Strong UI testing expertise, including user interface validation and cross-browser compatibility
• Proficiency with defect tracking systems and knowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements
• Experience with Apache Tomcat application servers, Oracle 19c databases, and SAP Business Intelligence interfaces
