Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer for a full-time remote position, responsible for creating and executing test plans, formulating test cases, and collaborating with developers and product managers to identify and resolve defects.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and document comprehensive test plans and test cases, including manual and automated testing
• Execute test cases and perform necessary manual testing or configure automated tests
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to review defects and discuss potential solutions

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance with expertise in both manual and automated testing
• Proficient in creating and executing various types of tests, including functional, regression, and performance testing
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Rest Assured and Cypress
• Familiarity with testing microservices and APIs using tools like Soap UI and Postman
• Experience working in agile development processes and using version control tools like Git
