Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary

To support managed care operations, the full-time remote Quality Assurance Engineer will design and maintain testing environments, develop test strategies and plans, and manage defect tracking while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system changes are thoroughly validated prior to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain non-production testing environments that replicate managed care workflows
• Develop comprehensive test plans and execute various testing methodologies, including functional and regression testing
• Identify and track defects, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure resolution before production deployment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience, particularly in healthcare technology platforms
• Experience creating test plans and executing structured testing methodologies in Agile or Waterfall environments
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, and API-based integrations
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance practices
