Quality Assurance Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the quality of the Caseware IDEA Windows desktop application, the full-time remote Quality Assurance Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated tests, while also performing manual testing and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for the Caseware IDEA application
- Evaluate and improve the existing Ranorex-based automation framework and propose alternative automation solutions
- Perform manual testing, exploratory testing, and regression testing as needed to ensure product quality
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven experience as an SDET, Automation QA Engineer, or similar quality engineering role
- Strong programming or scripting skills, preferably in C#, PowerShell, or Python
- Experience with desktop test automation tools such as Ranorex or similar technologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and integrating automated tests into development workflows
