Quality Assurance Engineering Manager

Job Summary

Building and leading a dedicated QA automation function, the full-time remote Quality Assurance Engineering Manager will define the quality engineering strategy, select automation tools, and personally write tests while managing a team to enhance testing practices across products.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the quality engineering strategy and roadmap across products
• Personally write automated tests and build framework components while managing the QA team
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates for releases

Required qualifications

• 7+ years in software quality or engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role
• Proven experience in building or maturing a test automation practice
• Hands-on coding ability with modern automation tools and CI/CD processes
• Strong technical judgment in automation frameworks and test architecture
• Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and understanding of their application in QA
