Quality Assurance Manager
Job Summary
Leading quality oversight for early phase clinical research programs, the full-time remote Quality Assurance Manager will ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP), regulatory requirements, and internal SOPs while managing QA staff and fostering a culture of quality across teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage QA staff and activities to ensure effective execution and compliance with QA programs
- Oversee audit planning and execution, integrating quality data and trends to identify risks and support continuous improvement
- Maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners while supporting inspection readiness and quality issue escalation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of GCP, GLP, and GMP regulations for phase I research studies
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to read, interpret, and write technical documents and reports effectively
