Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and self-motivated, the full-time remote Quality Assurance Specialist will review and confirm the accuracy of medical evidence for VA disability claims, ensuring compliance with the VA's Rating Schedule while maintaining productivity logs and addressing inquiries from veterans and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Update and review completed Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) for completeness and accuracy
• Verify that DBQs align with the VA's Rating Schedule criteria and ensure veterans' files are complete
• Communicate effectively with veterans and staff regarding DBQ content and status updates

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of the VA's Rating Schedule and familiarity with veteran disability claims (preferred)
• Experience in administrative roles within the medical field (e.g., scribe work, transcription)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to navigate multiple computer programs simultaneously
