Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure billing accuracy and adherence to processes, the full-time Quality Assurance Specialist will conduct quality assurance reviews, analyze audit results for improvements, and validate workflow updates, all while working remotely from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance reviews across departments and payers to ensure billing accuracy
• Analyze audit results to identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements
• Maintain detailed records of audit outcomes and prepare reports for leadership review

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in billing operations workflows with a focus on quality
• Thorough understanding of healthcare revenue cycle billing and regulatory compliance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with healthcare information systems
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively
