Quality Automation Architect
Job Summary
To lead the modernization of software quality management practices in a remote full-time capacity, the Quality Automation Architect will drive the transformation to a fully automated test suite and deployment pipeline while ensuring high-quality metrics in a regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement a technical approach for modernizing software quality across the engineering organization
- Establish a modern test architecture, including a clear test pyramid and automated quality gates integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Provide mentorship to QA engineers and software engineers, fostering a culture of shared ownership of quality within the development lifecycle
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in a software development organization with a focus on quality management
- Significant experience with agentic software development workflows and supporting tools
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools, particularly GitLab
- Experience leading transformational projects in high-complexity environments with compliance obligations
- Commitment to data-driven decision-making and the ability to define and track clear KPIs/OKRs
