Quality Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Motivated and detail-oriented individuals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Quality Automation Engineer, responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining automated tests while collaborating with senior engineers to ensure software quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop low-medium complexity automated test scripts
• Execute automated test cases, report results, and track software defects using tools like JIRA
• Collaborate with the development team to understand application functionality and maintain automated test scripts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
• 1-2 years of testing experience, with 0-1 year in automation testing or equivalent training
• Basic understanding of Gherkin test scenarios, API & UI functional testing, and end-to-end testing approaches
• Familiarity with Java programming and basic automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Karate)
• Basic experience with SQL database querying
