Quality Control Auditor

Job Summary

To ensure timely and accurate billing processes, the remote Quality Control Auditor will manage daily audits of offshore Data Entry teams, verify insurance eligibility, and update billing information accordingly.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and process assigned work queues efficiently while maintaining high quality
• Review and correct insurance-related payor codes and ensure accurate entry of insurance information
• Identify discrepancies in patient insurance information and make necessary corrections in the billing system

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ years of experience with insurance verification or Data Entry in the medical field preferred
• Basic working knowledge of billing procedures and insurance reimbursement guidelines
• One year of prior electronic medical records experience (EMR/EHR) required
• Moderate computer skills, including beginner proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
