Job Summary
To support a large banking client, the remote contract RCSA Quality Control Lead will provide independent quality control and effective challenge over Risk Control Self Assessments, IT risk assessments, control design, and control testing performed by IT Subject Matter Expert teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality control reviews of IT Risk Control Self Assessments, ensuring risks and controls are clearly defined and appropriately rated
- Challenge control testing executed by IT SME teams, assessing testing scripts, evidence sufficiency, and overall conclusions
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate challenges and facilitate resolutions while documenting QC results and recommendations
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT risk management, technology audit, or related disciplines
- Significant hands-on experience with Risk Control Self Assessment programs in a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of IT general controls and technology risk frameworks such as COBIT or NIST
- Proven experience in assessing control design effectiveness and evaluating testing evidence
- Ability to engage with senior IT stakeholders and challenge risk/control conclusions professionally
