Quality Control Manager - Mortgage Risk

Job Summary

To support a growing mortgage risk services team, the full-time Quality Control Manager - Mortgage Risk will manage and train quality control staff, oversee pre-funding and post-closing quality control functions, and develop quality assurance reviews while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage and train quality control staff members to ensure high standards in loan activity reviews
• Oversee pre-funding and post-closing quality control and due diligence functions, recommending operational improvements based on findings
• Monitor regulatory changes and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to real estate lending

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mortgage Credit Underwriting or Post-Closing QC auditing
• At least 5 years of management experience
• Proficient in MS Office, with strong skills in Excel and Word
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy
