Quality Control Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Quality Control Specialist, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Review electronic medical records for HIPAA compliance and authorization limits
• Determine the legal right to release medical records based on HIPAA regulations
• Mentor new employees and communicate issues to the Lead/Supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a medical record setting
• Must pass an industry-related course and exam within six months of hire
• Maintain current and yearly HIPAA certification
• Understanding of state and Federal Laws for Release of Information (ROI)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
