Quality Control Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Quality Control Post Close Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate loan files for various loan types, including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Jumbo loans
• Identify loan deficiencies and communicate findings within required timeframes
• Complete pre-purchase, post-closing, and agency audits as assigned

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• At least 5 years' experience in the Mortgage Industry
• Strong understanding of various documentation types and loan programs
• Knowledge of PC environments, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment
• Must be able to work overtime on short notice, as required
