Job Summary

A company is looking for a Quality Control Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews of Non-Agency loan files for compliance with policies and regulations
• Analyze loan documents to assess risk levels and ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines
• Perform post-closing audits, generate reports on findings, and collaborate on process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in mortgage underwriting, with 2 years in the Non-Agency space
• Proven experience in quality control or audit functions within the mortgage industry
• In-depth knowledge of Non-Agency guidelines and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in mortgage loan management systems and quality control software
