Quality Engineer

Job Summary

To support quality engineering initiatives across eCommerce and Marketing technology platforms, the remote Quality Engineer will design and execute test plans, develop test documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality customer-facing applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on defined acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and track software defects through their lifecycle
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous quality improvement discussions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a quality engineering or software testing role
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, including familiarity with automation tools
• Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ADO)
• Basic programming/scripting skills (e.g., Java, JavaScript, dotNet) for test automation
