Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Quality Engineer will create test cases, maintain quality during sprints, and ensure a defect-free product while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Brazil.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the QE Practice Lead to create comprehensive test plans outlining testing scope and strategies
• Develop detailed test cases based on requirements and execute them to validate software functionality
• Document defects found during testing and manage test data for relevance and consistency

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software Quality Engineering
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Practical experience with automation testing methodologies and frameworks
• Experience using test and defect management tools (e.g., Jira / TestRail)
