Job Summary
Focusing on the deployment of the Built-In Quality (BiQ) Playbook, the full-time remote Materials Quality Engineer will ensure robust material handling processes, lead nonconformance investigations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across value stream warehouses.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end implementation of the BiQ Playbook within warehouse operations, ensuring process consistency and effectiveness
- Conduct regular quality audits to verify compliance with internal standards and document findings to drive corrective actions
- Manage Non-Conformance (NCR) investigations and lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities to implement sustainable process improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
- Proven experience in a quality or operations-focused role within a manufacturing or logistics setting
- Strong practical knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and structured problem-solving tools
- Experience with ERP systems and warehouse management platforms
- Ability to translate complex quality requirements into simple, actionable process instructions
