Quality Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Quality Engineering team, the full-time Quality Engineer will design and execute test plans, perform functional and regression testing, and collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure high-quality software delivery in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans while identifying coverage gaps across Web, API, and Data components
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving tasks to completion with minimal oversight
• Apply and refine quality engineering standards and processes, contributing to SDLC quality practices and participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related technical role
• Solid understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing
• Hands-on experience with bug tracking systems, such as Jira
• Comfort using GenAI tools to support scripting, test design, and information discovery
